We have over 30 years’ experience in the repair and conservation of historic buildings.

Our clients include Building Preservation Trusts, universities, churches and private owners. We have worked on many fine historic buildings, from university colleges and Georgian houses, to listed churches and war memorials.

We offer our clients a full architectural design service from inception to completion, which includes:

• Conservation strategies and approaches
• Personal director-led account management for every project
• Measured surveys of existing buildings
• Disrepair schedules and Quinquennial surveys
• Negotiation with Conservation Officers on conservation strategies and submission of listed Building Consent applications
• Grant application to the Heritage Lottery Fund, Historic England and other grant giving bodies
• Sensitive designs for new extensions or internal alterations within the context of fine historical buildings
• Carefully detailed and specified repair work to building elements in carved stone, terracotta, oak framing, lead work, natural stone roofs and eradication of rot and dampness
• Historic colour schemes, period joinery details and decorative ironwork
• Working with specialist craftsmen and architectural historians
