Assurance on RAAC concrete

There has been much news coverage recently on Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) and the safety risk it poses, with more than 100 schools in England being told to shut before the start of the autumn term. Although RAAC is predominantly found in schools, hospitals, and public buildings built between the 1950s and mid-1990s, it can also be present in housing stock, particularly in converted or altered buildings (including those which pre-date the 1950s).
