Northern Moor site transformed to deliver 34 new homes
The new Willows housing development in Northern Moor from Wythenshawe Community Housing Group opened its doors to lucky residents recently.
Designed by BTP Architects and built by contractor Casey, The Willows delivers 34 contemporary new homes on the site of the former Alfred Morris Court sheltered housing complex in Wythenshawe.
The development provides a mix of high quality accommodation, including 23 apartments for social rent and 11 family homes for shared ownership and outright sale through Garden City Homes.
BTP have carefully designed the scheme to provide strong street frontage on all sides with attractive landscaping, secure gardens and car parking with electric car charging points.
WCHG Executive Director of Development Andrea Lowman said, “As an organisation we have to look at all the different options available to us to meet the rising need for homes in the Wythenshawe area and beyond. The Willows is a fantastic development that will help to provide much needed new homes for the Wythenshawe community”.
BTP Associate and Project Architect, Elliot Denby said ‘It is wonderful to see our designs brought to life in these modern, desirable homes that will help people’s homeownership dreams come true.’
