We are now seeking a Marketing Assistant / Administrator to join our friendly team and support our Business Development Director, Office Manager and wider practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and an interest in marketing to contribute to a well-established and forward-thinking practice.
About the Role
As Marketing Assistant / Administrator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our marketing and administrative functions. You will help coordinate campaigns, support content creation, assist with bids and presentations, and ensure effective communication across the business. This role is ideal for someone proactive, organised, and confident multitasking in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality presentations, tender documents, planning reports and marketing materials.
Manage invoices, purchase orders and supplier documentation with accuracy.
Plan, coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Organise internal meetings, prepare agendas/minutes and track actions.
Support corporate events and business meetings, including logistics and follow-ups.
Maintain and update website content via CMS platforms.
Create, schedule and monitor social media content and engagement.
Liaise with PR and marketing agencies to support ongoing campaigns.
Assist with bid management and client onboarding, including PQQs and competency questionnaires.
Maintain the bid library (case studies, CVs, project material).
Support Directors and Architects with general administrative tasks.
Monitor outstanding customer invoices and support credit control.
Manage marketing databases, mailing lists and digital marketing activities.
Attend workshops and conferences as required.
Oversee stock levels of marketing collateral and office stationery.
Provide reception and general front-of-house duties.
Skills & Experience (Essential)
Experience in a marketing or administrative role, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Understanding of digital marketing, including social media and email campaigns.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Skills & Experience (Desirable)
Experience in the property, construction or wider professional services sectors.
Familiarity with design tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva).
Experience with CMS platforms and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
Understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Qualifications
A-Level standard or equivalent (required).
Marketing or business-related qualification (desirable).
