Pine Grove, Eccles

BTP Architects were appointed as architects and Building Regulations Principal Designers for a private residential project at Pine Grove in Eccles, Manchester. The brief was to design a new single-storey rear and side extension to transform the existing property into a light-filled, modern family home with a focus on open-plan living.

The design included the removal of the existing external side kitchen wall to seamlessly connect the new extension with the original structure, creating a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area with minimal disruption to the existing property. Additional internal remodelling was carried out to enhance the flow and functionality of the ground floor, including the creation of a new utility room and downstairs cloakroom.

Careful attention was given to maximising natural light and creating a sense of openness throughout the space, with clean lines and contemporary finishes enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Claremont Building & Joinery acted as the main contractors on the project, delivering the works to a high standard and in keeping with the design vision.
