BTP were appointed as architects on the £5.6m development of 45 state-of-the-art, new affordable apartments in Davyhulme, Urmston.
The Spinning Gate is a state-of-the-art apartment block with landscaped communal gardens and parking, in a prime location overlooking Kingsway Park and just one mile from Trafford Centre.
Spinning Gate consists of 27 two-bedroom and 18 one-bedroom homes for shared ownership and rent to buy, offering an affordable opportunity for local people to make their dream of homeownership become a reality.
Trafford Housing Trust partnered with L&Q on the scheme which was built under the Trust's Laurus Homes brand by contractor Seddon.
Vicky Saunders Managing Director at BTP, said: “It is wonderful to see our designs brought to life in these modern, affordable apartments that will help people’s homeownership dreams come true.
“We are very proud of this development which has involved a significant amount of partnership working and collaboration. Before building even started we needed to carry out exploration work to check for unexploded World War II bombs. Thankfully none were found.”
