Delivery of 61 new affordable homes
BTP were lead architects on a project to deliver 61 contemporary affordable homes, helping to revitalise the Hargher Clough area of Burnley.
The Kinross Street estate includes a variety of two- and three-bedroom bungalows and houses, designed to meet the needs of a variety of tenants, including families and older people.
Sustainability is at the heart of the development, with the timber-framed homes “future-proofed” to meet modern environmental standards. Features include solar PV panels and electric vehicle charging points, ensuring the homes are both cost-effective and eco-friendly.
Throughout the development, the project team worked closely with local residents to shape the scheme – including enhancing the existing public space for new and existing residents
Working with BTP Architects and our partners, we’ve delivered homes designed to support residents in building secure and happy futures, while benefitting the wider community
