Design of new classrooms, IT suite and training facility for high school

We were appointed to act as architects on a Design and Build contract. The brief was to create new build school classrooms, IT suite and training teaching facility.

Key Features

  • Establishing a clear Client Brief and identifying the key stakeholders and their requirements.
  • The project had to be completed during the summer holiday period and in a limited financial budget.
  • Identifying risks to the project, innovating and mitigating risks. For example, existing drainage needed identifying and diverting within a tight budget.
  • Establishing pragmatic sustainable solutions to generate excellent quality larger classroom spaces.
  • Providing low maintenance and low life cycle costs.
