Project Description

Restoration of Grade I listed Church

BTP were architects leading a programme of repairs and restoration to the beautiful St Anne's Church, Haughton in Denton. The Grade I listed Church was built in 1880 and designed by architect J. Medland Tayler, who defied Victorian architectural ideas by creating a meld of styles harking back to the medieval church with also Elizabethan chimneys and a Scandinavian style roof design.

BTP has been involved in restoration works to the intricate mosaics in the font and nave areas. We have also carried out repairs to the exterior, including the lychgate roof and the Church spire.
