I started working for BTP in 1994, qualified as an Architect in June 1995 and was promoted to Associate in January 1998 and Director in 2002. I became Managing Director of the practice in 2017.
During the past 25 years at BTP, I have gained extensive knowledge in all types of housing, including new build, refurbishment, supported living and extra care schemes. I am an AABC and RIBA SCA Conservation Architect and have worked ona number of significant historic projects across the North West including the restoration of the historic Pankhurst Centre and birthplace of the suffragettes in Manchester I specialise in sustainable architecture and BIM and am accredited as a Home Quality Mark Assessor and BIM/PIM/TIM Project Manager.
When not at work, I enjoy skiing and sailing. I run regularly and enjoy swimming. I also mentor and train Part 2 students to achieve professional qualifications. In 2018 I was shortlisted for Consultant of the Year in Women in Housing.
