Rayyan Amjad
BA (Hons) MArch
I joined BTP Architects in October 2022, after completing my Master of Architecture from the University of Manchester.
Since then, I have worked on new build and refurbishment projects. A project of particular interest to me was St Annes Church in Denton where I worked with a Senior Conservation Architect to restore and stabilise the existing floor slab and carry out repair works where necessary.
I have enjoyed being out on site and following the project through the RIBA stages of work and improved on my surveying skills. I aim to achieve full accreditation over the next year to become a registered architect.
I have a keen interest in developing architectural design which can help communities. I started a non-charitable organisation; Build for Pakistan which is aimed towards the housing crisis in Pakistan.
